WHAT IS THE ‘ndis’?

The NDIS offers funding to eligible individuals with disabilities, providing them with opportunities for more time with loved ones, increased independence, skill development, employment/volunteering options, and improved quality of life.

It also serves as a bridge to community services, connecting individuals to healthcare, community groups, sports clubs, support networks, libraries, and schools.

Currently, the NDIS supports over 500,000 Australians with disabilities, including approximately 80,000 children with developmental delays, ensuring early intervention for optimal lifelong outcomes.
